Galamus Gorges: A marvellous natural site...

A natural site which is protected and graded: Exceptional! In a large rift between vertiginous walls, the cool waters of the Agly bubble and roar, then calm down and become deeper. A windy road dominates the gorges. The natural grottos have become, since the 15th century, a refuge for hermits. The exceptional location of the Hermitage, suspended over the side of the rock, has become a sought over site by film directors.
